MC for TR Map1 2.0 v0.9 by Kovacius
Based on scripts, objects, and just about everything else from Toccatta and Drac's monumental crafting mod, aside from those things shamelessly pilfered from the even more monumental TR project.
This patch extends Morrowind Crafting to the Mainland by adding MC compatible resources, equipment, vendors, and trainers throughout TR Map 1. There are no quests in this beta, although you may find a few new bits of dialog from a handful of NPCs. Several of the existing TR merchants now sell a small selection of MC items, some including wood. Two Woodcutters have been added, one to Port Telvannis and the other to Firewatch. A number of anvils, looms, spinning wheels, a smelter, and a potter's wheel have either been added or made MC compatible (including the large floor-standing spinning wheels found in a few locations on both Vvardenfell and the TR Map 1). The already over-crowded smithing menus have been marginally expanded (with a lot of inappropriate dialog delivered outside the game during the process) to include Telvanni Molecrab armor (start collecting Beetle Resin and those small Molecrab shells). There is now enough room in the one menu that I can probably shoehorn in the House Dres Gah-Kogo medium armor (using the Big shells) and hopefully add Dreugh armor for the final release, and perhaps even a Telvanni Cephalopod helmet.
A final MC for TR Map 1 release will have to wait until the Tamriel Rebuilt Team finalizes the TR Map 1; until then, I won't know if anything needs to change for compatability. If you run into any bugs, glitches, or outright errors with this mod, please let me know via the Bethesda mod forum. I have tried to test as much of this as I could, but there's always the distinct possibility that I broke something in the process and don't know about it. Since this is only my second mod release, I'm still making mistakes on a continuous basis, but trying really hard to hide the evidence.
Requirements: you must have both MC and TR Map 1 v2.0 to use this. As both of those require the official TRB and BM expansions, they are also required to run this mod.
Installation: place the MC_for_TR1v09.esp file into your "Morrowind\data files" folder and check the box to activate the mod, or use whatever utility (Wrye, Testool, etc.) you use to manage your mods. If you are using Abot's Water Life, you may also wish to activate the small MC_FishingRod_4Abots.esp patch, which allows you to make usable Fishing Rods instead of the generic fishing poles (do NOT use this without Abot's Water Life).
Thanks again to Toccatta, Drac, and the whole Tamriel Rebuilt project team for the variety of essential bits and pieces which made this mod doable, and for the months of enjoyment and inspiration which I have gotten from their mods that led me to attempt this. - Kovacius[/left]
