Ravenview Village Readme
*You need to have the borders disabled to reach this village*
Located high in the mountains on the border of Cyrodiil and Hammerfell, sits a large village, Ravenview. This village overlooks both provinces and has spectacular views of Chorrol, the Imperial City and Bruma.
To install:
A never fail method I now use is:
Download to Desktop. Now unzip to Desktop (Download ZipGenius for free off the net if you don't
have a program to unzip)
Open My Computer/Local Disk (C:)/ Program Files/Bethesda Softworks/Oblivion
Then click once on Data Files to highlight it
Minimize size of screen to allow you to see the extracted files on Desktop
Drag each extracted file (ESP, Meshes, Textures) and "Drop" onto "DataFiles"
A message will come up for each one, just click "yes to all"
Start up Oblivion
Go into Data Files
Click the box to the side of "Ravenview Village" to activate this
And off you go.
The village itself:
A large village with a tavern/inn and a shop, and luckily there are two choice pieces of property for sale in the village. The first is a small cabin hidden behind the village and accessed by a winding path. This one room house overlooks Hammerfell and boasts spectacular views from it's balcony. This house sells for around 5000.
The second house is manor house located on the top tier of the village, this large upper class house has three bedrooms, two small and the master bedroom with walk-in closet, a full kitchen, lounge, study, mage's room and training room, and sells for around 34000.
Both houses can be purchased from the shopkeeper.
At night the house windows light up at random, meaning you are more likely to find the upstairs bedroom lights on when wandering the village later, than the downstairs, or only the downstairs on at one time etc (Pretty fun to watch or walk around the town at various times in the night to see which lights are on). Some houses are lit up later than others, but by 3am the last of the 13 residents are in bed.
Conflicts:
I don't know of any other mods that will conflict with this mod, or are even built in this area.
Credits:
Bethesda of course for this amazing game.
Zimnel- for the gorgeous curtains.
EFG- for the beautiful tapestries and rugs.
MentalElf- for TES4FILES
Usage:
Please do not plagerise this work or combine and upload with other mods, or upload to other sites. People work very hard on their mods, put their heart and soul into it and this mod is no exception, it is in extremely poor taste, extremely rude and in effect stealing to plagerize and copy others work.
If you wish to use any part of this mod with the intention of releasing publically, contact me prior for permission.
