simple question i'd include pictures for memory refreshers but i don't have any readily availible, feel free to post some if you have them
well i think i'll have to go with mournhold on this one, but if i didn't have tribunal i'd say imperial, i'm all about massive fortresses (not that there are any in morrowind, but you know what i mean)

I really can't decide.... If it was only Morrowind I would say: Caldera and Pelagiad have the nicest houses. What style is it? Imperial? But when I think of Solstheim and the wooden houses of the Nord - I think I would prefer those. I simply love the wooden walls and floors, the bear rugs and fire-places. Not to forget the impressive Mainhalls!

Good idea Gunther! But what do you mean with "Waterfront"? Never heard about it... Or at least, i don't remember anything. I voted "Vivec" (i guess you meant "Velothi", that is the name that defines its architecture, as well as for the Ancestral Tombs), but just to give a vote to a style different from the "Mournhold" (which is called "Indoril") or "Nord"... since as a modder, and especially a Morrowind architecture lover, it's really hard for me to decide for just a single style. I love 'em all! Magicflame: as Gunther pointed out, "Imperial" is to define only the Imperial fortresses; while "Nord" is for the common Imperial small houses that you see in small towns such as Seyda Neen but even Pelagiad and Caldera... But the name "Nord" can be used for the Solstheim's houses as well, you're right. However, if i shall decide what is the one i don't like, i would probably chosen that Nord - Seyda Neen style. It's easy to mod (contrary to the Telvanni, which is a real nightmare!), but it looks terribly ugly to me now...

i forogt what the formal name for the vivec architecture was sorry gunther Oh, don't worry! "Waterfront" it's a nice name indeed: glad to know it. And it's definitely a very good way to call towns made in shacks, (if not Seyda Neen) such as Gnaar Mok like you said, or Khuul... which i love due to the archstones that surrounds its area (they are used a lot in TR's Map 1, too).

Treehouses aren't listed so fae would have to agree with MagicFlame on the Caldera and Pelagiad homes. Love all the styles - even Telvanni (sorry Chief) ^_^
But of course, Korana's rose cottage is where meadowfae and companions most hang out. I know it's not part of the vanilla game architecture - but it's a wonderful warm place after a long day of dungeons and daedra. ~m

I had to vote Imperial because I appreciate a little more spacious interior. Doesn't have to be a castle, just a little more spacious.
Don't we all love it when Vivec guards get in our way in the corridors?
Architecture and furniture layout are at least partly to blame when companions or NPC's "get in the way" in doorways and between furniture. There should have been enough room in the first place between the furniture or in the doorway.
Telvanni was one of the worst for not having even a modicum of roominess. I think a very nice Telvanni home mod could be made with a little judicious scaling.
But I do like Hlaalu and other styles as well.

But of course, Lady K always add her personal taste at in every thing she does, so sometimes it's (fortunately) difficult to recognize at which style they belongs. Intrepid: when you will try Tamriel Rebuilt, you will see what is possible to do with the Telvanni mushrooms! I don't play mages, then i still wouldn't live in one of these weird cities, but the team really did an excellent job... these places really can be called "Fantasy" now! I don't remember something who looks like what they did, in vanilla Morrowind or in mods. Then i think that the Telvanni tileset it's a set that you can use to really free your imagination, like you can't do with the others...

I like all the architectural styles of morrowind, if not in design, then simply in their uniqueness and originality (*cough* Telvanni *Cough*). I have to say that the Indoril architecture is my favourite, as I find Mournhold incredible. Runner-up would be Hlaalu architecture (Just about the only thing I like about those bloodsuckers ), at least on the outside. As far as inside styles are concerned, the Redoran have to take first place (One of many things I like about those guys , with their spacious interiors and neat designs.

I always wind up favoring Hlaahlu architecture although I always seem to sprinkle a few Imperial peices in with it here and there. Like doorways, arrowslits, etc. My very favorite type architecture to build seems to be tunnels and for that I use smallVelothi architecture. I do like the way the smallvelothi rooms are already built as are 4 caves so you don't have to take the time of peicing them together.

My character also lives in the Ascadian Rose Cottage...once I looked at that house, I didn't bother with the other house mods I had downloaded, so I tend to favor that style.
Even before downloading that cottage, I prefered the homes in Pelegiad and Caldera.

I voted Vivec, because I have an awesome retexturer that makes the city of Vivec all blue and gold and ivory
