Inspired to a thread seen on another forum. Which religion would better fits your Morrowind character? Imperial Cult, Tribunal Temple? Some forgotten Daedric Cult? Or another, maybe added by a mod (please report it!)? My charachters haven't never really followed any Tamrielic religion at the moment; i did all the quest of the Imperial Cult but they were a bit disappointing, probably due to a lack of better roleplaying with that character, which wasn't an Imperial after all. Also, i have played through that path with a 50 - 60 level character, and at least the first of them seemed designed for beginners to me, so this was the point probably. I love to play Nord characters but i feel the lack of a mod to make the Skaal's religion joinable, so definitely i still haven't found my religious path in Morrowind at the moment. As usual, feel free to discuss.

Well, this depends on my characters...But lets start with Rogus...
Rogus was once a member of the tribunal temple, but being deemed a heretic and chased over half of Morrownd by temple warriors tends to make it hard to be a part of that religion...He mostly despise imperial things that could never result in any profit, so no Imperial Cult...So for the moment, he doesn't really worship anyone or anything.
Fadril...He wouldn't tell me...Bastard
Dalamus; Avid worshipers of the Tribunal Temple, untill later in his life when the Redoran council exiles him to Solstheim, to oversee their colonies there (official lore states that Redoran does not have colonies of Solstheim, I know...It's lore from a mod that was never finished)

It's Dalamus a Dunmer as well as Rogus?

After having spent years getting into the dunmeri mindset, I have come to look down on every single other race that exist on Nirn...So yeah, he, and Fadril are dunmer, like Rogus.
They are actually related, all of them are Rarayns...
Rogus-Dres Minor House Rarayn Fadril-Telvanni Minor House Raran Dalamus-Redoran Minor House Rarayn
They don't have much contact though, they are of different branches of a clan from the days of Nerevar

That's pretty interesting; on the other hand, do you use some Tribunal Temple - related mods? If yes i would to know them, just in case i will play a Temple devote PC or why not even a Dunmer...

I usually play both religions, just because I like to do quests.

Aeronwen doesn't follow any of the religions although being a Redoran she has done a lot of work for the Temple. She may not agree with the Tribunal itself - especially after completeing the main quest - but she supports their acts of charity for the poor, ill and illiterate.
I think the character believes in a "Higher Power" but does not feel comfortable joining any sort of religous organization.

I think the character believes in a "Higher Power" but does not feel comfortable joining any sort of religous organization. This is the same opinions of much my characters as well, especially my first Morrowind character: being a Nord, she probably didn't felt the traditional Morrowind religions as confortable for her, pity that a 'Skaal religion' mod is still unreleased actually. That would be really a cool mod to have, as it would extend the life of Nord characters a lot. Perhaps that you recognize yourself in your Morrowind character sometimes? That is pretty normal in RPGs though; i'm asking you this because it's what i feel sometimes, and i definitely don't care very much about religion practice in my real life (though i totally respect it and love to study some of its aspects, thus here's explained my interest for religion - mods for my virtual life...). I usually play both religions, just because I like to do quests. Do you mean both Imperial Cult and Temple quest line? There's a big quest mod at PES which extends the possibilities of the Morrowind Imperial Cult a lot, as far as i remember (will link to it later, eventually); it's obvious that it's designed for players who have a good affinity with the Empire though. Any idea about some good mods which matches with Morrowind's religions? Do you know some?

Yeah, I generally do both quest lines.
And no I didn't know there was a mod that extended the IC quest line. I would welcome a link. And no, I'm unaware of any mods that match Morrowind's religions. Sorry.

Yes, I would say so. I find the study of different religions facinating. I like to watch documentaries about Christ even though I don't consider myself a Christian. I have a facination and respect for different belief systems but there isn't any one that I would label myself as. I just believe there is "something" that maintains the order of things, if that makes sense.

And no I didn't know there was a mod that extended the IC quest line. I would welcome a link. Ok, finally I remember about which mod I was talking about: it's called Ordo Legionis and is by Dark Knight Gafgar; while the author says that the plugin still doesn't contains all the features that he would to add for a final release, it looks good and quite interesting to me; so have a look at it and tell me what do you think about it. And no, unfortunately it doesn't extends the vanilla IC quests line (at least that's what I think; please correct me if this isn't true, and sorry for any confusion); however the modder clearly says that 'Ordo Legionis' is designed for players with a strong affinity with the Cyrodiilic Empire, then hopefully the included quests should fit quite good to what Bethesda did in the vanilla game for players who would like to join the Empire and all its related stuff. Let me know what do you think of this mod and if contains something about the Imperial religion or such, I have downloaded it quite a while ago but never played.

Arakhor, naturally, serves Boethiah, Prince of Plots.
Venyarin Silverfur ia a paladin of the Nine in Vvardenfell.
Marek Tillunson isn't terribly religious, but does feel an affinity to Mara, the Mother Goddess.
