Inspired by a nice thread at the Official Forum. Whic Great House did you join with your main Morrowind character? Me, House Redoran: mainly because i play melee fighter characters and i have never understood the real purpose of the Hlaalu (even if i have to admit that the Hlaalu stronghold takes place in one of the best locations and is probably the best - looking, even unmodded). The House Telvanni always looks a bit unfriendly and weird to me, but now would be good to know if someone of you tried a mod to join the House of Lord Dagoth Ur, or if he's already dreaming about joining Indoril or Dres (perhaps that will be possible when Tamriel Rebuilt will release the maps 3 and 6). Come on!

Great House Dres, definetely....So much of my fiction, mostly the unwritten part, takes place in Tear or other Dres cities....And besides, that huge hair they have looks quite awesome together with the black stuff around their eyes.
Second to that I would say Redoran.....TR adds tons of awesome Redoran stuff

Great House Dres, definetely.... Now you have to explain us what do you think about slavery in Morrowind!

*in character* Is it slavery to make a guar carry your trade goods? Is it slavery when you waste a perfectly good horse by riding it? The beast people are nothing more than animals, born to serve a dunmeri master...As for the rest of the races, they should have used the intelligence they so pride themselves on to escape.... *out of character*

"The animal shall not be measured by man. In a world older and more complete than ours, they move finished and complete, gifted with extension of the senses we have lost or never attained. They are not brethren; they are not underlings; they are other nations, caught with ourselves in the net of life and time, fellow prisoners of the splendor and travail of the earth." ~ Henry Beston, 1928 =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= *fae pokes head in to TCC while off in the mysterious East on a quest to track down the elusive Chinese unicorn* =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Here, here! Fae exalts Master Xeth. Though he has spoken as a greedy slaver, the point about the guar and the horse is well made. The meadowfae love all races, all flora and fauna in Tamriel (unless they attack with deadly intent) and are the custodians of life in its various forms. That includes a few inebriated faer folk dancing wildly in the meadow during the full of the moon. ~m

Aeronwen the ranger doesn't really fit in anywhere but she ended up with Redoran. In spite of being a Bosmer, she has a strong sense of honor and right and wrong...and even if she isn't a warrior in the traditonal sense, she manages to hold her own. And she thinks the sun rises and sets on Athyn Sarethi.

I joined both Redoran and Hlaalu but in most cases it was Redoran. Not really sure why. I think the mushrooms kinda turned me off Telvanni and for the longest time, undressing in front of Caius just didn't feel right. Edit: Whoops sorry, not Caius but Curio. I've been away from MW too long.

I firstly joined Telvanni. The mushroom houses caught my interest and I was pretty impressed by mages ever since the one in the cave by Seyda Neen kicked my butt. Also, I liked those shiny crystals and their apatheticness. I mean, Haylee, my character, doesn't hesistate when she wants something. >.>

Though I prefer House Redoran, I like the Hlaalu Quests better, their seems to be more loot, plus you get to visit with Uncle Crassius Curio
