yup i just beat the MW main quest for the 6th or 7th time...now i gotta do tribunal and bloodmoon....again
this timethough was quite interesting for two reasons...
1) i downloaded a very nice texture replacer which completely ruined my mini map with no hope of redemption except for a complete reinstall..thats not going to happen...finding vemynal was a lot of fun...took me a half an hour
2) i download Trinity in Darkness which removes all ambient lighting from all caves...giving a very realistic feeling to spelunking....but i ran out of torches....that was fun...nearly crapped my ants a few times running into dang sleepers and dagoths
other than that...it was fun...yet old...and just as i remembered it..not hard enough for a final boss...(well i am lvl 68)
anyways please feel free to share details of you conquests of morrowind...i like to hear how other people do it

Thanks for the idea gunther, hope others will join it! I've played only a character actually, a nord battlemage that you can see somewhere here... In these days i've started a new one, a breton whichunter, but i'm using it only for testing mods. I'm still not ready to start a new game... How i conquered the whole Vvanderfell? Well, unfortunately i haven't conquered it all, due to some dirty bugs; but my Lucy has raised the ranks of all the major factions, except the Temple and the Morag Tong Guild (which idn't fits to her very well...). I played a very regular game: simply done all the quests and, raised a certain level, spent a lot of money in training! To level up more... and more... In certain cases, i've get also 20 or 30 lessons from the same teacher at the same time! How funny, eh? But it was a regular game i repeat: nothing special, no peculiar enchantments or spells created, nothing peculiar i done for my first character; for this reason i'm waiting for other experiences, from you too obviously! What your character did? And remember to show us some screenshot too!

i used to do the fighter's guild but i dont bother with that anymore...after my fourth char i just do the three main quests and then check out the new mods and do other little things...just looting primarily...the other quests bore me.....
but after 6 or 7 time of this game you'd think i would get sick of the whole thing....*shrug* i guess not

ps no screenies yet...i forgot what to do to my ini file to take them...im too lazy to look it up *bleh* To enable your game in takin' screenshots, just find the line "EnableScreenshots=0" and change it to "EnableScreenshots=1" (remember to make a backup copy of your .ini file, in case you make some mistakes). That's all... Basically "0" means "false" and "1" means "true". Then, press the "Sramp" key during the game. And you have your screenshot! I love the Morrowind quests so much, that i can't don't play them again if i start a new character! Playing them again with a different type of char allows me to experiment new ways... Even because when you play a Witchunter you feel something different than when you play a Battlemage, or a "pure mage Breton or Elf character". I mean, maybe with this female Witchunter i'll finally join the Morag Tong Guild, or i'll test some mod who add... witches to Vvanderfell... So i'll can catch them, lol. Talking about Lucy, my first PC, at a certain point of the game i discovered she had a passion in making money (for example, she gone to caves only to sell what she found inside at every merchant!), then this was another thing who allowed me to conquer Vvanderfell: to become rich! And, hungry of glory, she joined also the Imperial Cult: but the quests weren't the best for a pure warrior... So they bored me a little, especially at the beginning. I'm start thinking about a mod who change them!

yeah thats what it was ...i forgot if the line was there or if i had to add it (i didnt bother looking) but if i did look and i did find it i would have known what to do
back on topic...i just beat tribunal in two days (ecept wiping the DB out..i did that first thing after getting 67 levels in two nights: before youe ask its called lots of daedric weapons, someone to sell them to and a list of master trainers....i don't need to say anymore)...i love trueflame...and full "her hand" armor doesnt hurt either...except i can now carry only about an extra 50 lbs of crap..with my strength at 150 (rings, amulets, and belts and grand soul gems and a summon golden saint spell)
n e ways
now to beat bloodmoon...and i only got six days to do it before i go back to college...ughh
wish me luck

Good luck gunther! You'll need it with Bloodmoon, eh eh (btw, have you seen how i've called the skins of this forum?) I haven't still beat the Tribunal main quest, but i suppose Tribunal is a little easier: Solstheim has no roads and is a very fierce land; creatures and enemies are really really bad... But it's also an amazing story, filled of poetry misteries and especially surprises... I don't want to tell you more, just enjoy it. And a suggestion: take all the time you need to explore the island, no hurry! It would be a pity to end it in a week... Everything in Solstheim its made for high - levels heroes: the weapons costs much, the treasures are more (you'll see); so this is another way to make your character richer and famous, eh eh. Unfortunately Vvanderfell lacks in mods who allows you to spend your money: i remember "The Last Great Housing Mod" of some years ago, which allows you to buy an huge mansion in every Vvanderfell's region, but no others at the moment... What can you do with all those septims if you can't waste them? But don't worry for this problem in Solstheim: the solution will poppin' up at a certain moment... Just do the Imperial quests. I definitely elected Solstheim my home; and obviously my reign too! Good luck with the college to!

i dont become a werewolf, if i want that power i just use the ring....i have a feeling that transformation would become an annoyance and i would just sleep it off so i really dont think it would be worth it....besides ive read the quest walkthroughs for the werewolf side so i know what happens (or i knew...i dont remember now)...
anyways
im gonna play MW in a fw minutes...been playing NFS most wanted today...dang that game is awesome...i got 12 cars and counting...
but enough off topic rambling...there's a different thread for that

My char is level 77 and right in the middle of the Raven Rock quests of Bloodmoon. Haven´t tackled Tribunal yet. Reynard is a long time char, I play him for some 2 years now and he has grown something of a 2nd personality of myself so I probably won´t give him up for some time to come. Opposed to myself he just keeps growing stronger and stronger without growing older. Gunther, the face of your avatar is vaguely known to me. Who is he? Greetings, Mewgull

he was major gunther rall of the german luftwaffe in WW2 and served on the eastern front against the russians for the majority of his tour with 275 kills, only three of which were against the americans who shot him down and captured him...he was released after the war and was promoted to a general in the luftwaffe and became a high ranking member of NATO and helped develop the f-107 (i think) fighter jet...and he is still alive today
the reason i have him as my name and avatar is because i have a signed picture of him and his plane...a personal friend of mine gave it to me...(he runs the Ted Williams Muesem in Florida and before that worked as a security manager (i think) for the boston red sox...he gets stuff like that all the time)
btw: two years and only lvl 77...dont play much or just like to go slow....i got 68 lvls in two nights...but that was my 7th character...*shrug* this game bores me now i think...i need oblivion

I have tried to play a werewolf (after beated the Bloodmoon main quest and after some extra vanilla Vvanderfell quests... Hum, Imperial Legion?) and i can say that it's interesting, you see the world from another point of view. You really see the world from anther point of wiew, since a beast don't walk like an human... Yes, when you turn yourself into an "hound" (as Hircine likes to call his werewolves), the game provides for you a completely new p. o. v., with a pair of some new visual changings on your screen (i.e., the image turns to darker a bit), and that's pretty interesting. And difficult: are yu sure you will be able to fight good without all your weapons and armors, dude? So here's another way to "save the world": to save the nature instead of humans this time, since Bloodmoon asks on which side do you want to fight for... I love this expansion for its originality, and for what it adds to Morrowind, and that's one example. However, even if interesting, the furry way fits better to darker or evil charaters, of course... For my "positive" hero wasn't exactly her cup of tea, eh eh. I made a mistake!

Morrowind bores you? Well, what can I say... I have been playing it for 3 1/2 years now (in German and English) and I have more than 70 characters, different genders, different races, different destinies... I finished the mainquest 3 or 4 times, have been running around in Mournhold and Solstheim for quite a while - and never finished anything. ;D But 70 times (or more) I stood high above on the lighthouse in Seyda Neen, watching Fargoth... Now I have Oblivion in German and English, and it's not the same. It hasn't got the "magic" that Morrowind still has - and always will have. Sometimes I play a little around in/with Oblivion, and then I return to Morrowind. These days my Darkwarrior-Lady Orc Krasha gra-Buzz is on her way to fight Dagoth Ur, she's level 29 and Hlaalu- and Telvanni-Hortator up to now (forth and fifth trial). It is a new experience because for the first time I have an excellent graphic-card and can play with highest performance. Hehe, I can see from Balmora to Caldera...
