First of all, welcome to my Elder Scrolls Forum: i hope you like it as i've enjoyed make it!
Here are my personal rules and guidelines. They are essential for a pacific convivence; we hope that you will not feel bothered in reading them.
Registration.
To post in this board you must to be a registred user.
Just sign in by choosing a nickname, a password and a valid e - mail address; then, activate your account by clicking on the link contained in the e - mail sent by the forum.
Registration : an important note.
Due to a bug, this software doesn't accept nicknames containing spaces while in registration mode; then, your nickname must to be completely spaces - free while you sign up for the first time.
If your nickname is intended to be with one or more spaces, feel free to PM me (admin) and i will fix its spelling immediately after your registration.
Posting: general guidelines.
Like the name suggests, this forum is for discuss about everything related to the games TES III - Morrowind and TES IV - Oblivion; feel free to create every kind of threads, leave replies and make polls about those games, but please put them in their proper sections.
Admin or moderators will provide to move threads and topics to the appropriate board, if they'll are out of place.
Posts: limit number of replies per thread.
As at the Bethesda's official Elder Scrolls forum, every thread will be locked after it reach 200 posts; that's to avoid server problems. Also, starting fresh can bring a thread back on track, or the new thread can reflect the direction the conversation has taken.
Avatars.
Please get yourself an avatar! It helps us to recognize you easier amongst all the hundreds of posts here. And isn't better to have a nice picture instead of a blank space?
100 x 100 pixels is the avatar size limit; upload it to somewhere like Photobucket , ImageShack and then link to it from there.
Signature.
You are welcome to upload your signature, but please keep it to a reasonable size, since not everyone has a computer able to run big images or a fast ADSL connection.
Screenshots.
At the moment, is allowed to post images in the screenshots sections at the max resolution of 800 x 600 pixel; the limited size is for the reasons described above.
Please post full images only in the Screenshots section; in other sections, provide a link by adding the "url" tags to the original link as usual.
Obviously, it's allowed to post full pictures even in other sections (for example, a birthday thread), but please keep them tiny and don't transform a birthday thread in a screenshot thread.
Off - topic threads and replies.
There are also some off - topic sections at the bottom of the homepage: one is "The Main Hall", then we have an "Hardware & Software" one, and an "Art & Graphic" section where to put your various artwork if you have someone and want to show it.
We don't mind if members go a little off - topic when posting; though, keeping in mind that this is a friendly place, we ask members to don't do it too much.
No spamming, leet speak and flaming.
The use of spamming, leet speak and flaming on other members or forums is not allowed on this forum.
Adult discussions and adult content threads and topics.
We aren't absolutely not against these kind of topics; but they would break the General Proboards.com Terms of Services .
So, talking about sex in a mature fashion or on the subject in a non - offensive and neutral way it's fine. Posting anything explicitly sexual, including nude images, links to adult sites etc., isn't allowed here.
Then spamming, flaming, leet speak or explicity sexual posts and threads will be immediately deleted, and the author warned; three warnings will result in a ban from this forum.
That's all for the moment; obviously, rules can change, then come here again so to see if there's something new to read and know.
Welcome to the Chieftain Chambers!
