Great news! I just ordered my new computer, it will be ready before the end of the week. Here's the setup: [/b] What do you think about it? I can wait to have my hands on it, since with this setup I will finally able to run the latest games at high settings and good framerate. Of course, the first game that I will try will be Oblivion GoTY, together with the coolest add-ons ever created for it (Silgrad Tower, Tamriel Rebuilt Stirk and Hammerfell -- don't forget that I have access to TR's WIP files!).[/left]

Anyway, your computer should be pretty powerful: I remember the city of Silgrad Tower for Morrowind as one of the biggest ever released for Morrowind. Indeed, the whole mod requires a very good computer to run well.
And about my new machine, I just hope the motherboard will be able to use the 9800 GT at the best of its capabilities.

Its a PCI, and I have no more slots to add any sticks Strange. Then I guess you have an old motherboard... Which model is it? Anyway, if your mobo really supports PCI-Express, you could just replace the videocard with a newer one (as long as everything is compatible, and you have enough RAM). Anyway, I just finished testing my new Gainward Bliss 9800 GT 1024 MB: works very well, runs the latest games very fast. Can't wait to get a bigger monitor (now I only have a 17")!

Just tried Morrowind with my new videocard, it runs at 100-120 FPS in both interiors and exteriors. No problems at all of course. Dark Messiah of Might and Magic runs very good as well, the only problem is that I don't see all the eyecandy effects as they should be, but that's probably due to my old monitor.

Good to know, yes you should not run into many ( if any ) problems with a pc like that
you mean you have all this PC and no monitor to show it off, oh noooo
Thats funny because I have an old computer but my monitor is new.... HP w2207h

Of course I have a monitor (differently, how could I type here?), but it's still the old 17" CRT bought together with the old computer. I have planned to buy a 22" LCD in january or february.

The great moment has came: I just bought a Samsung Syncmaster T220HD LCD 22" with incorporated digital tv tuner and all the latest stuff to enjoy PC and TV greatly. Games runs at 1680 x 1050 on it, the video quality is high. Also, bought a Sony Bravia 32" Full HD LCD TV for my parents.
We are both so excited about this new hi-tech toys!
