Another information I gathered surfing the web. TES IV : Oblivion found its way into the PCGamer's Top100 list at no.7, surprisingly overtaking many other very popular videogames. Of course, there is also an announcement at the Bethesda Blog. What do you think about that?

I'm surprized that Morrowind didn't even make the top 25, I didn't even see it made the top 100, strange as I and I know many others feel the content of Morrowind was far, far superior
Additionally I do not feel Oblivion would have been nearly as popular if it were not for the popularity of Morrowind

You're right! I'm surprised as well. But have you thought that maybe the veteran Morrowind players have never heard of that site (and thus that contest)?

Thats a possibility, Elder Scrolls fans are pretty upon their forum and info pages, but I have also run into many (younger) players who actually never heard of Morrowind, I find that a bit hard to swallow but its true

If you have run into many younger players who never heard of Morrowind, believe me if I say that I have run into many old players who never heard of CRPGs...
