Well, i think it's time to start a thread like this: post here your most beautiful and interesting holydays and travels pictures! The summer is ending, everyone is back to home, so i think that sharing 'memories' (ok, let's call them in that way...!) with the other members would be a nice idea; so what we expect to see here is a lot of photos showing the places that you've seen during the past three months and the fun that you had exploring them. Isn't that cool? Not very much from me, since as you probably already know i have spent my summertime working in a very big touristic village in Sicily: was a very fun experience as well, of course; but really weren't much time to visit the rest of the island, so here's simply a shot from the ferry boat, leaving Sicily which is on the horizon: I will eventually recover pictures from the past years; what you can do as well, just in case you can't find much to show. Oh, and Christmas pictures are accepted, too.

Huh. I didn't noticed that thread before today, shame on me. Here's a couple of pictures I took during my holidays in Turkey (to be more accurate, in Cappadocia) with my wife, two years ago:

Yeah, this forum is quite large and sometimes eat the posts.
However: um... The first thumbnail doesn't link to any real picture, could you please fix that? And don't forget, this is a screenshots thread, so fell free to post as many holyday pictures you want. I'm so curious to see more about Turkey!

Huh. The first thumbnail seemed yet to work properly the day I posted it. Anyway, it should be fixed, now. As the pictures are quite large, I think it was more confortable to keep posting them in thumbnails, so I hope they're won't be more problem with the links. Here's a picture taken by my wife: And some more pictures: Cappadocia was a gorgeous place which I recommand strongly to you. One day, I may post something from our honeymoon, but we didn't take a lot of pictures on that trip, so that it could be somewhat tricky to find nice ones.

Ok, that thumbnail is working now: what an original landscape! Indeed, Cappadocia is a place that I should visit. How strange are the ruins in your wife picture: what are they?

*shameful to answer that lately* In fact, what you can see on my wife's pictures aren't ruins: it's natural rocky formations, called fairy chimney. Ahem! By that statement, I assume that you were speaking about the first picture. As for the second one, with ruins on it, I can't alas, say anything about them. We weren't with the guid, at that time, and totally forgot to ask him about it. I can't even remember about the name of the village in which we took the picture.
