How to leave the Census & Excise Office in Seyda Neen with a lot of loot (*grin*), possibly valuable? It's simple: finished the CharGen (i.e., immediately after finished to tallk with Socucius Ergalla), go immediately to the bookshelf on the right side of the room, and open your inventory; pick up the Limeware stuff you see, put it in your inventory, then pick it up again and immediately leave it falling on the ground, without closing the inventory; close it only when the Limeware will be down. You will receive a warning from the Imperial Guard and from Socucius, don't care about it and go, just close the dialogue window and go ahead. You can do it with every object you want in the first room, even bottles, books, etc. And now, wait for me Creeper! ;D Just one thing, due to a Morrowind bug stealing too much objects will proably put the captain Sellus Gravius against you: then be careful with this little cheat and don't abuse of it, if you do't want to be attached and then finish your experience before it starts.

Also, don't forget to take the key in the bookshelf behind Sellus Gravius. It opens the Census & Excise Wharehouse, with many more items to loot!

Correct (please don't tell anyone that i found that key just now, after many and many time spent playing the game... ) However, it's pretty difficult to steal something when you're at level 1 and especially close to the Captain (which is quite strong, i think): so i assume the key placed in that place just to help who wants to do the Vivec Fightersguild's quest... One of them is exactly about to go inside the warehouse. But it's however a good hintfor thieves - oriented character, then thanks for sharing with us, Mormegil. Have you noticed the silver glass and the gold coins abandoned in an hollow three stump near the lighthouse (no, it's not Fargoth's hideout - but another one)? Again, i've discovered it only now but honestly that three stump don't reminds me any quest or such things, so i assume it simply as an easter egg. Well, it's not a rich booty, but it's cool. ;D Have you found something other?

Only a few steps away from this tree-stump, to the north I think, there is another tree-stump in a swamp, surrounded by those glowing plants. If you are good with jumping or can levitate you will find an enchatend axe inside.

Wow! That's amusing... So Seyda Neen is definitely "Tree Stump Town"? I have to admit, i didn't know all of theseeaster eggs!
Hum... I remember a cave with a nice enchanted ring as reward at the end; and again, i have to admit, i don't remember where it is. Any clue?
Seyda Neen: if this is treasure hunt, well it's very interesting! ;D

It is - again - near Seyda Neen and it is the Mentor's Ring. You can find it if you go along the coast from where you find the dead body of the tax collector. Just follow the coast and jump over some stones, you can see an ancestor grave and there it is, inside. ;D But be careful - you are not alone inside!!

Thanks Magicflame, finally i remember the name of that damned ring! And i was just looking for a new good dungeon challenge (i. e., due to the lack of dungeon mods). Also, don't forget to take the key in the bookshelf behind Sellus Gravius. It opens the Census & Excise Wharehouse, with many more items to loot! Be careful in stealing from the Seyda Neen warehouse if you haven't decent sneak and security skills: i tried it just an hour ago, and the guard who walks on the skywalker spotted me very soon. Talking in general, be careful in stealing in the Census office area during the CharGen or after a few time after it: i don't know if that's a bug or not, but the guard killed me instantly without asking me to pay the price on my head or go to prison. And that's pretty strange.

About the Ring of Mentor: the imperial battlemage drinking at Arille's Tradehouse give to the player a clue about it, if you ask him about the latest rumors: Did you hear that some fool lost Mentor's Ring. In a tomb along the Bitter Coast, or so they say. Thanks to Magicflame: I didn't know of that hidden magical axe.

If you travel up the road heading toward Hla Oad from Seyda Neen you will pass a swamp on your right. Past that there is a raised hill type area and another swamp. If you're level 1 there will be a mudcrab crawling around between the swamps. Go up that ridge so that you are high up over the second swamp. Get over as far to your right as possible so that when you slide down the hill, you will land on a group of boulders. Stand at the crevice that's just in front of where the view is in this shot: Stand so that your view of those boulders and the tree stumps is very close to this view. That is where you want to slide down the hillside so you land on that lowest ridge of boulders. This is where you want to be when you slide down the hill. If you go down to the lowest ridge of boulder, and look into the set of 3 thin tree stumps, you will find a Fireblade Dagger and 50 gold in one of them.

Maybe, it's better to post a simple link instead of full pictures in this board. Or exercise your drawing skill and make a map! ;D
However, returning serious: thanks a lot for the useful hint: as i probably told above, some coins and a little weapon will not change our life, but they are equally small easter eggs that they are strange to us pleasantly… And they enrich the fascination of the Bitter Coast. I will travel near Hla Oad a bit much right now; not only looking for tree stumps of course, but also in order to better discover this underrated region.
Let's gowith other hints, if someone has some!
