That's really strange. I've recently bought CorelDRAW , and it's an absolutely amazing software; it's a graphic suite which includes many utilities, one of these is Corel R. A. V. E. ... Something similar to Flash. Well my problem is that now every .doc document i make is displayed with a Corel R. A. V. E.'s icon instead of its regular Word icon. I haven't touched any CorelDraw or Word setting, then what the hell it's happened?

This is an awfully old thread but I just noticed it. Did you get a fix for this?
If you click on a Word document to open it, does Word open the document? You can right-click on a Word document and hit Properties, and see in that panel what it "Opens With" and change it if necessary. In fact, you might want to change it to something else, like notepad, then hit Apply, and then change it to Word, just to see if that will reset the icon.

Already tried everything, but the problem is not fixed. It's just weird.
