That's my first here and it will be simple, i hope.
Well, i'm an absolutely expert in Morrowind uninstallations (translation, i do it often) because some mods starts to give me some problems at a certain point, screwing up something or so... Then i have to uninstall. Or simply because i'm bothered by something (again, problems).
Then my question is the following: why the uninstaller never uninstalls everything from my Morrowind directory, but always leaves many things (subfolders, data files, ecc.) in their place? At least on my computer. Shouldn't an uninstaller remove every trace of a software from the HD?
This one could be a good question, even to start a discussion about " evil uninstallers" or such.

Got a bunch of old parts of MW in my hard drive as well Osiris. I wonder if Bethesda just did not provide a good uninstall utility with the game.

Well it could be. A friend of mine said me that uninstallers are often not so good (especially with softwares who adds many stuff in the hard disk), so you often have to look by yourself to clean all the remaining folders etc...
However the uninstallers aren't ever built by the same software house who create the game; they often simply use a standard uninstaller, "InstallShield Wizard" if i remember well.
