Do you like to cheat to improve your skills in the Morrowind magic schools? I'm basically against cheating with mods, except when they are really, really, really original and intriguing (someone knows "Find Rings" or such similar plug - ins?), and however i will never suggest them to the "newbies"... The only cheat i used was to close my character in a small room and then let him casting various kinds of spells for some minutes, to improve some skills and then level up easier. But that would be really a cheat? Or isn't simple to assume as a normal practice that every scholar has to do? Eh eh, big question. Now i would to hear someone's opinion, or at least to know if you "cheat" or "not cheat" with magic.

You don't need to cheat to do that. Just find a bedroom with a door - the Ald'ruhn Mage Guild has just such a room.

Infact, it's what i usually do (at least, not with my new Breton Knight yet)! Ok, then cast 100 times is not a cheat. But i would to know: no one who uses other tricks here?

Cheat, always cheat ... that's what my mods are all about. Forget all that hooey about balancement if you wanna play my mods. Why not shoot a DragonMaw Bow that sends an entire platoon of flaming soldiers flying up in the air with one arrow? That excellent bow is complements of my hubby Cullen. What's wrong with TWA Shoes that have jump turned up so high that you tread the clouds for about 5 minutes and then land clear on the other side of Tamriel? Those were a bit over the top, but were fun testing and I found that you could only have jump turned to about 10-15%. Ohhhhh yeh ... and don't forget to add the SlowFall ... and at a slightly higher rate. And why not double the size of your architecture and live in a tower that is actually one of the Suran tower houses at double the size. Believe me, it's plenty roomy and elegant enough for entertaining a traveling army. To show you how outlandish I sometimes get in the merry land of Morrowind, here is a pic of my Celestial Wizard robes ... I believe I was a touch manic when I designed them .. ahaha .. i63.photobucket.com/albums/h155/SunburstStudio/My%20Game%20Characters/3CelestialWizardRobes.jpgAnd yes, their respective enchantments and magicka will be overly-awesome too; especially the starspangled one. I might go conservative on the mooney one, don't know yet.

The only form of magic that Aeronwen uses is Illusion. Sometimes when she is just walking down a path in the Ascadian Isles, she casts Sanctuary over and over again so she gets good enough that she can always cast it and other illusion spells when she is in a situation where her life may depend on it.
I don't consider that practice time "cheating". If I were to use those spells in real life, I would want to make sure that I knew what I was doing before I found myself being chased by an Orc with a big axe.
