Nice stuff, these new ramblings about pyromancers seems not from a collection of MSN messages (though even the previous 'Necromancy' thread was quite amusing!): is that correct?
Just curiouis: I would to know what makes north - western Europe as the home of the Pyromancers, and what the aquamancers their allies (as i feel water opposite of fire instead).
Is this one the beginning of a larger work about the fourth elements?

I wrote this down outside of an MSN conversation, yes...Didn't have much else to do that night As for the area the pyromancers rule: The whole idea of the pyromancer monarchs came as a result of playing Fire in Lord of Magic, and my fascination of Barbarossa-era Europe. Monarchs with power over fire just seemed to fit damn well into an area like North - Western Europe. As for their allies; Unlike other worlds that base themselves around elements, the wielders of elemental powers are not religious fanatics dedicated to the destruction of whats opposite of their element... This is politics....This is not a world where they fight for the power of their element, this is a world where they use that element like Medieval monarchs and so on would have used it if they had it in our world. The ties arent all that great between them, but they mantain a healthy trading relationship, and they have an alliance against the threat of the Necromancers and Geomancers (though those two arent allies either...The Geomancers probably hate the Necromancers more than other people does) And all this would most likely qualify as being close allies these days. And yes, it is the beginning of a larger work about the four elements...Or more, haven't counted yet... Lets see; Fire Water Earth Frost (used to be wind, but that was ages ago) And then we have Necromancy on the top. Four moons in one, and the black tar to suffocate them all.

Frost (used to be wind, but that was ages ago) I have always thought that wind is still in use, at least in esoteric and astrology... Never heard about frost.
