Hi to all you Morrowind addicted, i've an idea for a new thread: why don't share here tons and tons of screenshots about our houses in Vvanderfell and Solstheim? Or also in Mournhold, for who runs Tribunal (except me...)? There are thousands and thousands of housing mods around here, so i think every Morrowind player should have some houses around the two islands of the game... Ok, let's start. The following is my first house, naturally in Balmora and used 'til i was a low - level; it's very small, but cozy and conveniently located under the Silt Strider port: It has everything a starting character could desire - included a comfortable bed, of course... I think is one of the better one - room MW housing mods, 'cos it's only an interior cell and don't adds odds & funky things to the game world. And it's made by Kelly Starr. Thank you Kelly for this amazing abode. And this one is my house in Pelagiad, by Ravensong - one of the best housing mod i've ever seen: very beautiful, very big and with many surprises inside; for example, a full library with all the 36 lessons of Vivec, a magic room with magical doors who teleport me to every guild of Mages, a crate with gold and a complete collection of precious weapons and armors!!! Hey, be quite : they aren't cheats, those "presents" are under some hard - locked doors, so it's supposed you have to know the ekash spell for take them. It's an house for high level characters. Do you like it? I LOVE it. And this one is the Abu Manor, made by the wonderful Phoebe (one of the greatest modders around here, i think) and located in the great city Ald' Rhun (what an house for a Redoran!): very, very, very big and with many rooms, two trophy and display included. And finally, my Telvanni Tower in the Grazelands, Tel Magus by Aragon: my companion Hilda is in front of the main entrance, waiting for new adventures! Ok, i close this message with The Crystal ault, a magical house located inside the Ald' Rhun Magesguild: stricly reserved to mages, 'cos moving inside it with some levitating potions it's the better solution! And you? What about your houses in Morrowind? What do you think about the housing mod? Do you have only an house, or have you bought all Vvanderfell? What do you think about my pictures? Post your screenshots, messages, comments and suggestions HERE!

Beautiful Chiara, Race "Chimer of Light", Profession "Mistique", Level 21, proudly presents: Cragonmoor, a wonderful house at the hillside of Suran! Outside the house is a stable (don't know why, no horses in Morrowind... ) and a guesthouse , nothing special, but nice and easy. The house itself has an impressing entrance. Chiara had a look at the lovely dining room and was especially fond of the coloured dishes, never seen before! A cozy place at the fire and wonderful drawings at the wall was the next to look at. In the kitchen there is a friendly cook who sells very special ingredients! Later on Chiara found the very, very beautiful private room with a place to sleep and a place to relax. She thought, there could be no better place, but then she found the swimming-pool in the cellar, where dolphins are playing around... and after that the most impressive library with another kind of under-water-world! And still there were more things to investigate... suddenly she found a door to the dark side... This is a place for Vampires, I think!! What a lovely midnight-snack ;D - and you can sleep in this sarcophagus!! There are many more rooms - like for example the wizards workshop and outside is a beautiful garden with waterfalls and a statue... This is probably one of the most phantastic places I have seen in Vvardenfell!! Inside you find a teleportation-star, so you can reach any room in a second. I think I won't play without this house anymore!

Outside the house is a stable (don't know why, no horses in Morrowind... ) Are you sure? With Madmax's "Pegas Horse Ranch" mod, you'll can have how many horses you want! The ranch is somewhere in the Grazelands, not far from Vos: it provides some new NPCs who will give you all the informations you need in order to acquire the ranch, and finally ride your horse. But Madmax's mods are usually very riches (many new scripts, sounds, musics, quests, ecc.), so expect the unexpected from Pegas... However, let's go ahead with other pictures from me: the adventures continue! My first character Lucy don't like the Telvanni people very much - she prefer to be only the Archmage of the Magesguild - and this is why she has only a Telvanni house, the famous "Tel Magus" you have seen in my first post here. It's a special house (like every Aragon's mod... ), look like other Telvanni house but suitable also for fighters, not only for pure mages; and this is why she choose to download it... You can choose to put it in the centre of the Grazelands, not far to the Zainab Camp, or in the middle of the Ebonheart peninsula - you really have only to choose where. So visit soon Aragon's website for more info! Screenshots next time. "Abu's Retreat" it's another nice house made by another great modder, Phoebe, but i suggest you to try her bigger "Abu Manor": located in Ald' Rhun next to the temple, it takes inspiration from the Redoran Council Halls meshes, so you can easy understand it's really really gigantic... Two display rooms, a dining room, a kitchen/alchemy area, a conservatory (sort of room with plants etc.), and much, much more! I like also "Solstheim Castle": Korane made really one of the best Morrowind's (or Bloodmoon's ) strongholds! Ok, after all those small talks, we can go ahead with some new screenies of my Lucy's beautiful houses... First of all, other pictures of her first Balmora house after a total repainting of Morrowind: Do you like the rug? It features the work of Korana (yes, she's my favourite texture designer... ) And this is where is the entrance: Let's go ahead with her big Pelagiad House, this is the rich first dining room downstairs: Ant this is the smaller upstairs. Now, let's take a look at the library (It has skill books inside!) And a look at what the armory contains... ... Under a 100 - level locked door, naturally. Ok, after this tour my sweet Lucy can finally relax herself a little, looking at the beautiful sky of a sunny day... See you next time, post your comments!

Even a wild Orc-Warrior-Lady needs a romantic place to relax... This is one room of the German PI "Villa" by Rendel, totally undecorated at that time, but she is collecting candles and laterns a.s.o.

It's a good start, Magicflame! I'm interested in know more about your new lady orc character, then please show us more of her abodes! Has the house you showed in your posts here some interesting new features, like scripts or such? Looking at Cragonmoor, the house of your Chimer of Light PC, i'm wondering about that. Krasha's house looks nice and i want to know all its secrets. Where is located? I've never heard of houses in Mournhold. That's pretty strange, the capital of Morrowind lacks in houses... i know only 2 or 3. But now, as i've promised last time, i'm back again to show you other excellent interiors for the glory of the house modding: after some hard battles (as usual) and some frustrating Ashlanders' quests... Ok, let's go now. Travel from the Urshilaku Camp to Suran was a very long trip, so my Lucy arrived at Suran at night time; wondering if that city is more beautiful than the moon, or viceversa... Found the house was not difficult, it's near our favourit Morrowind - public transportation and is the biggest building near the main city entrance! Wow, finally a bit of rest - she's very hungry after that long walk (ok, nice dining room, but this house need a kitchen...)... After dinner, she realized that is time to make new potions: the alchemy room is still quite bare, and need something new to show up to companions and friends, next time when you'll see the second part of this Suran - tour!!! ...As you noticed, my houses haven't peculiar scripting features (at the moment); but i can't resist at what Ravensong did, so a lot of dishes and furniture pleased me at all!

If you put IMG codes around each of that lot, we'd be able to see them without hyperlinks.

Woah. Where did you get the stunning trees from? What resolution is MW running at and what graphics card do you have?

If you put IMG codes around each of that lot, we'd be able to see them without hyperlinks. Of course, if the images are really a lot, remember to put the IMG tag only to a few of them (for example, you can choose the best). Wildman, i agree with Arakhor: very interesting island! It' a custom mod? And the trees? Do you use a trees replacer? Actually, i know only a mod by ZeroTheHero who replaces all the trees in the Ascadian Isles with more detailed and bigger models. And please shows us also something of the interiors of the manor that i saw somewhere in your pictures! Ok, now is the time of Castle Veldoril, the titanic job of Geonox! Probably you know this stronghold mod already, but why don't make a new topic about it? Even if not really a perfect job (you'll know what i mean soon..), it's an interesting mod and i can't resist to post some pictures of it; let's start with a few, many more will arrive in the next posts. I am not playing this mod, i have only tried it for fun and in order to see how it works… It's decidedly an heavy heavy job, and i begin to fear for the health of my game (and of my computer of course). The mod adds about 80 new models and 200 new texture to the game; and there's also a nice new soundtrack (only 1 new theme, indeed) which will accompany you in the visit of this mysterious castle. The small island of Castle Veldoril (placed in the sea of Solstheim) is caught up by themselves taking one small boat at the port of Khuul... Only two steps after to have berthed, a strange gate appears. It has the air of being locked... ...And in fact it's locked… But Lucy is one true athlete, and therefore, with a jump, she's beyond the walls! Wow! But... oh my God, what the hell is this strange statue??? Well, the Castle Veldoril tour ends here, at the moment. Too scared in order to continue… Someone wants to accompany me?

Thats great looking, if i don't already have it I'll download it. Perhaps even install and play it. I download in droves and install at my leisure, the disadvantage of having a fast connection speed, I download em faster than I can install them. Thats why i complain about mods not having readmes LOL About my screenies, It's a personal little island off the Azura Coast I made for my wood elf when i discovered the landscape editing in the CS. The trees are a mix of regular trees and modders resources. Dongle's treehouse, jdooby's trees, lady E's trees, and a few others i can't think of atm. I think the log cabins are dongles IIRC. I'll have to check all that stuff before i release. I may even try and make a few more tree models myself. I made this a year ago and now I've re-discovered it, now I have a better computer so I'm adding more land and trees to it. I'm done with the new land so after i place all the trees and iron out some old bugs I'll post a link. I set it at the highest setting it would let me. Ive got a PCI-xpress Geforce 7300 gs. pretty nice card and the price wasn't too high, I'd love to see how a better card performs but i can't afford one. www.elderscrolls.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=544186

Hmm...is it snooty to show one of my own houses? ;D Well I did make it to my own taste. This one is Heather Cottage, just a wee cottage out in the middle of nowhere. Tucked away from the roadside it does have a beautiful wildflower filled garden, made even more colourful by the butterflies. The interior is tiny and consists of a very comfortable lounge, a fair sized kitchen and one bedroom with a large dressing room below. The dressing room. In the basement there is plenty of storage with a travel room, but the main feature is a natural cavern inside the mountain behind the house. With crystal blue waters and two waterfalls cascading down it makes a really peaceful natural swimming pool. The lights reflect off the waters and crystals and play on the ceiling. I think it is a perfect country retreat for my overworked character. Some of my other favorite homes are Skaal Home by Princess Stomper,(which is my favorite family home and has everything I could possibly want already in it) and Amaya Lodge by Deathbliss. (He originally just built it to see what he could do achitecturaly), but I just loved the potential and after a make over is now one of my favorites.

Thats great looking, if i don't already have it I'll download it. Perhaps even install and play it. Please release your island soon: i'm still looking for a good landmasses mod, and finally this one looks great! Where it is located? Is it big? I haven't expansion problems anymore, so now i can play everything; i've recently acquired Tribunal and my new breton Aleanne is actually moving her first steps in Mournhold: nice city (even if it isn't comparable at what you can see in Solstheim... Of course!) Be careful in installing Castle Veldoril: of course it's a great job of meshing and textures (even if not all the textures are really good indeed...), but as i will write in a next post, it's really hard to run it: i had 5 FPS inside the castle!!! But especially, it's in the same spot of Lokken and Solstheim Castle, which are two really popular mods... And that's a great pity. Why Geonox has not checked other castles' location before making his mod? Also, it's a castle for dark characters (vampires, assassins and such), so i don't recommend it for good PCs, its rooms and paintings have a scaring feeling... AlienSlof loves it, of course; i prefer quiet and regular houses. ;D Like the houses you make, Shezrie: they are really nice and are actually one of the best Morrowind housing mods around here, in my opinion! Maybe you have only to pratice a little more in landscaping (i had some little problems in enter Hideaway Cottage by the stairs from the lake outside, i had to use the other entrance); however this is really a minor problem, i run all your houses and found every of them absolutely lovely, built very good and always with interesting features inside. I love swimming pools, caverns and waterfalls; so i can't resist in installing also Heather Cottage (well, it's the only i haven't still installed at the moment!); try to do some extra scripting too... If those are lovely houses, i believe you can make your next mods really special adding some new extra scripted features!

My island is getting bigger, I find it relaxing to form land and place trees. I've started on painting the ground textures, kinda hard with all the trees in the way lol.
